Restaurant is filthy. My chopped steak was overcooked. The outside of steak was like a charcoal briquette. Definitely not medium well. Plus only 3 other tables in restaurant. Not sure how they would make money if busy. Everyone's food would be free. Instead of cleaning at closing time, all employees were standing around and talking. Not sure how the health department hasn't closed this place. I bet the owners don't eat here nor come in to see for themselves. The only good thing was the waitress. She was very nice and apologetic. They all were standing around saying the cook can't actually cook food. They even just reheated my mashed potatoes to make them crunchy on the outside. My wife's bread was slightly burnt on the inside of club sandwich and fries was terrible. Never had road kill but pretty sure this was close if not worse. Poor poor poor establishment.
Went for a date day with my family Saturday ordered a steak medium rare. It came out purple and cold in the middle. Logan's must have hired the cook from Applebees. This has been my favorite place for the past few years but that was down right gross. I had to send it back and it came back more done than medium. Not even close to what I wanted and it was already cut open clear to see how well they were cooking. Ruined a perfectly good steak.
The servers were very courteous smiling, and nice. We all 6 of us enjoyed the food steak was excellent. My husband who never and I mean never eats steak took bites of mine.
Walking in the door the hostess could not care less. She didn't even greet us. She just said hold on. She sat us at a table with dirty dishes. We thought she was going to move them but she didn't. We had to ask her to have some one take them. The she rolled her eyes and snatch them up and set them on the bar. There was food and stale rolls on the floor under our table. I didn't notice until after we ordered. Our waiter was pretty good. He did seem to side track some. We had to wait a while for our ticket and then for him to cash us out. We asked the bartender if she could cash us out and she said No and rolled her eyes. Then when he finally came back around he gave the ticket to the bartender and she cashed it out. The food was good. There was no complaint about that. But the service sucked. I know it was late and people are tired. But we were tired too after driving over 400 miles. We were just looking for good food and to relax. That wasn't the case here.
You could not order tea or coffee, due to the water lines being broken to the dispensing machine. Our group sat at two tables, and they were both so wabbly we couldn't eat comfortably. We tried to balance the legs with napkins under the feet, but realized it wasn't imbalanced legs, rather a loose table top, so we couldn't fix it. The servers actually told us about there concerns with management not addressing issues. I felt so sorry for the young lady. The manager came by, and looked totally disheveled, and out of place. I will say, though, we all enjoyed our food. It was prepared well. The accommodations were uncomfortable, but the staff was kind.
