I have had the pleasure of enjoying the pork belly on several occasions. This is served with a solid portion of meat that is FANTASTIC. Never seen any other restaurant even offer an equivalent. The staff are friendly and will do all they can to make your time there well sent.
Food, service and beer was awesome but the prices were absolutely outrageous. We had 1 cocoa porter and it was 12.50. That's insane for 1 beer. It's a shame because we loved the place but we'll never go back due to pricing.
Arrived about 6:30 pm and it wasn’t too busy but started to fill up fast. Large parties might want to make reservations. I had the house beer samplers (3) which were all good and the Trio Of Brats platter which was great. My son had a tasty Imperial Stout and the Duck Fried Poutine which he demolished. Very good and attentive service for a college-staffed eatery. We will be back!
Good food, good beer, great service. Waiting area is a little awkward, but luckily you don't have to wait often.
Enjoyed the perfect Sunday Brunch at White Squirrel. We appreciated the thoughtful menu, delicious food, and cozy atmosphere. Our server was a delight. The Breakfast Poutine is my idea of heaven! We're already looking forward to our next visit to Bowling Green...
