Decided to drive to BG to see if they have in fact have the black one. They had one but it was pretty banged up from being floor model. After waiting 20 minutes for an associate who was busy assisting 3 other customers with no help, we loaded it up. I took it to customer service to ask if I could get a small discount since it was obviously damaged around the feet as well as one of the doors would stick a little when sliding. The short haired lady who I'm assuming is a supervisor or manager spoke to me with an attitude and was very rude. She said "you can just take a black marker to that" and " that's probably why it's on clearance." I explained to her that ALL of them are on clearance and I can go get a new one for the same price and I don't want to take a black marker to something I'm paying $500 dollars for. No discount, no big deal, the attitude is what got me.
I then drove to Glasgow where I received a new one in the box and better customer service. I opened a card with them since there's a good promotion going on. Once it's paid I'll be closing it and taking my business elsewhere. I will not shop at the Bowling Green Lowes.
When I was told by coworkers that the Bowling Green Lowes had terrible customer service and that Home Depot was much better I didn't believe them. I'm from a town that's 45 minutes away from the Lowes headquarters in NC so I've always shopped at Lowes.
Last night I found an electric fireplace on clearance I liked. Bowling Green didn't have it in stock, Franklin did, so when I got off work this morning I drove to Franklin. They couldn't locate it at the Franklin store but said Bowling Green had one (it was the display so it didn't show up online.) The Franklin associate called the BG store. Bowling Green associate says he doesn't have black but he has espresso color (there aren't any espresso colored options available online).
Awesome! I went to Lowe's because of some horrible customer service at Home Depot. I requested a manager so I could get my purchase done as painlessly as possible. Little did I know that Lowe's actually has the best customer service I have ever had at any store. I was delighted at being treated like I was a valued customer. Our Assistant Manager, Matt was great. He was very efficient, located what we needed and processed our order so we could get on with our day. He knew exactly what he was doing, and within 20 minutes we were finished! What took 3 days and multiple phone calls to Home Depot, took 20 minutes! I was also happily surprised by the free delivery they provide! Wonderful people. Great management. Thanks Matt!
Gary in Plumbing is very knowledgeable in plumbing. Knew exactly what I needed and was on top of things. Hope he is their every time I need something in plumbing. Highly satisfied!
Customer service was atrocious very rude stuck up they thank they are better then everyone else hate it there the Franklin lowes is much better
