Great place. Friendly staff. My second time here on school field trip and they treated us extremely well. Good ice cream
They have really good ice cream. A lot of flavors to choose from. Also the food is really good. I like it when there is ice cream and a movie. Kids loved it. Nice family environment and a lot to do. However, its like an every now and then type of thing for me instead of a every weekend type of thing because it is kind of on the expensive side.
Great playground for the kids. Self guided tour of the dairy barn is available for $4. Very interesting watching the cows. In the restaurant they have a variety of food. I had the half chicken salad sandwich and bowl of potatoe soup. Soup was creamy, cheesy and delicious. Large selection of ice cream to choose from. Go ahead and give yourself permission to try two or more scoops. Yummy!
Great local gem! One of my favorite places to take my son for a treat. The ice cream is wonderful, good serving sizes at good prices. They serve food too, haven't tried it yet though. The staff is all friendly and helpful. Our favorite feature though is the playground, it is top notch!! My son would stay all day if I let him. And they do nice community oriented events quite often. Chaney's Dairy Barn is one of the best family friendly places in town.
Had the best time ever at this place!!! A group of us went during our family reunion in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The barn tour was so interesting and the owner gave extra attention to answer all of our questions. Everyone was so friendly.....not to mention the food and ice cream!! Everything was awesome and built with love for the animals. ... We will probably be back!!! I definitely recommend this place!! Thanking the owner for the special attention.
