The health care professionals are very knowledgeable and flexible to what your needs are. Reception staff is very helpful and courteous.
I'd hate to see what a suicidal person in my predicament would've done. Oh wait, I'm sure we all know the answer to that.
I'm one of the most polite and understanding people in the world. I'm not even joking. This is the FIRST time I've gotten emotional. And I held my tongue for as long as I could. Like I said, I've worked customer service and this place, supposedly meant to actually want to listen to your problems instead wants to ignore them and push pills in your face.
Much love
My family just changed to other services because phone was NEVER answered. I called every hour X's 3 and never talked to anything but an answering machine. I never received a call back. I have talked to several other individuals including a doctor's office staff member who had the same results.
I get it, I've worked customer service before, but that's just the thing. This is (supposedly) an environment meant to HEAL you, not to shoo you away and never even ask you why you're crying. Even someone at a store checkout has the common decency to actually want to hear what's wrong and your point of view on the situation that upset you. And then, I'm extremely in an emotional state, saying I don't even want to go there anymore at this point. And I'm told "Then don't. Here's a referral form for you to sign."
Scheduled appointment? Oh, sorry, someone came in an hour earlier for an appointment AFTER yours-so logically we'll see them first even if your scheduled time is now. Have a job to get to? Good luck, average wait time is two hours or more, but don't worry, you'll have plenty of entertainment watching people let their kids scream and run around in circles! In an emotional state? Don't come to your psychiatrist-instead go to the hospital or a crisis center even if you're emotional IN THE OFFICE OF YOUR PSYCHIATRIST. Be sure to cry as they usher you away even as they stay with other patients forever and you for a mere ten minutes. Want to tell us how you feel? Be told your opinions are not valid and that you shouldn't be feeling upset at all just because it's "Not their fault."
And this review goes out to Joy Cornelius, my doctor at the time. Thanks so much for helping me and being such a Joy to work with. Not really but hey, just want to tell you how much I feel you've failed me. But don't worry, I know it was "Not your fault." And hey, just so you know, I get it, it's totally not your fault that you chose to see people who happened to sign in early "just cause" before me, and hey it's totally not your fault that instead of listening to me you basically pushed me from your office (very professional for someone who should be trained to be better than that and be able to handle ALL situations)! And it's definitely not your fault that instead of trying to listen to me, you were already messaging the front desk to get me forms to sign and leave.
The first time I called to try to cancel an appointment (that I had previously stopped by to make), I got a recording because it was on a weekday that they were not open and I was instructed to call back Monday. Today I called again to cancel and got an actual person. Possibly no answer the phone policy is changed this week. This will certainly help retain new clients.
Thanks for nothing except making me feel bad for having feelings and emotions. I forgot that psychiatrists only help robots. Two years wasted going here.
