Don't know if it's the Doctor's office I went to or the regulations on prescribed medications, but be prepared to be in extreme pain. You are treated as an opioid addict, and prescribed the bare minimum. Otherwise they did a good job so far.
Went to see a Dr. Shanks had a discussion Vanderbilt university medical center came up I explained my distaste for that facility. From that point on I was treated like a p.o.s. This Dr. Is very arrogant and I wouldn't recommend him to a third class citizen. 8 months later went and seen another Doctor in this clinic, WOW What a difference seen a Dr. Riley excellent bedside manner talks to the patient as a real person. And he listens I didn't know there were doctors like him left. He took care of my shoulder. And I am extremely happy with the results.
I've been going there on and off for years seeing Dr. Burch. He's kind of like dr. House, blunt but a bad ass awesome doctor. This month my back went out again and I had to go to hospital, then see him. I had 2 tests and he said l 5 through 7 were really bad and I needed surgery. He ordered an mri for more detail. Today I went to go over it all and an assistant came in who I never met before. Didn't look at my files and tests and treated me lIke a new patient. Ordered a test I already had and physical therapy to fix the degenerated discs!!!!!
Have been callimg since june to find out about a suegery they were appealing from insurance. Needless to say after numerous and i mean numerous callsi have not gotten an answer all i get is voicemail after voicemail. If you are expecting to be treated like you matter go elsewhere.
Used to know a great doctor at W. KY Orthopedics. He retired. Went to dr. Christopher Patton by recommendation.. Super fast visit, negligent, prescribes pills (without name) does a shallow fast job and is gone. ...I am in terrible pain and will be seeking another doctor for help. (Today I got another negative about this doctor).
