Very nice restaurant! My husband and I had an Admiral's plate that we shared. Came with a salad. Party of 19 served nicely. They took our 15% off coupon, too! Just wish I could eat those biscuits. They have corn syrup or maltodextrin in them which gives me a headache.
The service was great, but the fried fish (at a cost near $15) tasted and looked like it was purchased in the frozen seafood section at Kroger. Honestly, the fish at Long John Silvers seems to be higher quality than what I ordered. Why would you go to a dimly-lit chain restaurant like this when the environment and food is much better at Steamer Seafood -- especially at a comparable price?
November 4th, @9:30 p.m. my boyfriend I wanted to spend our anniversary at this restaurant because we were just having that seafood craving. The moment we walked in the door the curly haired hostess was texting away on her cellphone, not even trying to hide it. I could tell she heard/saw us enter, but she continued to finish the message she was typing for another 5-10 seconds, locked her phone, and then looked up to us and said "how many?" Uh, okay. We said two and she took us about 10 feet away from her podium to the very first table on the left as you entered the dining room then she turned around and left without even saying anything really. She might of said our server would be there soon. At this point I was already irritated. The moment I sat down I heard a crunch under my feet. Left over fried shrimp were scattered under the table and we immediately were discouraged at the cleanliness of the dining room. Who knows what the kitchen is like? We left promptly. Poor waitress none of this was her fault at all. Your hostess needs to care more about your customers than her phone, Richard Wethington. I picked up your card at the desk on the way out. We will not be returning
Cheese biscuits, lobster bisque, the wood grilled salmon, lobster and shrimp with Brussel sprouts were fabulous! Kevin, our waiter, though very busy, kept our drinks filled and checked on us often, but not too often! Thank you!!
Service was bad, worse than bad. Waitress never offered refills and I had to stand up and flag sor one down to get our ticket and to go box. 25 yrs the waitress has been there???? Heck I would have fired her way before then if this is how she does. Expect better service on a 46.00 ticket for two people. Only up was the food was good.
