The shrimp and grits is amazing! The interior design is pretty cool. If you are visiting or driving by, I highly recommend stopping here.
While my seafood platter was very good and plentiful, my husband’s voodoo skillet was not. This was supposed to be shrimp, scallops, sausage, peppers, onions and potatoes. There was one piece of sausage, very few scallops and very few shrimp. What he had was a bowl full of potatoes with peppers and onions. Definitely not worth it.
Awesome crab legs. If you're there on the weekend ask for Joe, he's a great guy. The 5 star rating reflects on both the food and service
Shared a nice lunch with my wife and daughter while visiting WKU. This was our second meal at Steamers. The food is good. I had the Voodoo Skillet (blackened shrimp, sausage, scallops with potatoes and veggies). It was tasty and a nice portion. My wife had fish tacos and daughter had fried shrimp. They both enjoyed their meals as well. Their lunch menu is more affordable than dinner. We liked it.
We ate at Steamers last night for our 50th anniversary. As always, the ambience was wonderful and the food was amazing. I was a little reluctant to order the shrimp and grits because I am not a big fan of grits, but I was very pleased!
We have eaten at Steamer three times now and we have never been disappointed with the service or the food
