This place was great. Clean and comfortable. I slept better than I ever have in a hotel as did my 4 year old and 1 year old. The breakfast was great and the workers were also super friendly and great!!! Amazing.
Bed too high for an accessible room. I'm tall and can stand but bed was still too high for me. I don't know how people who can't stand could get in the bed. It was a pillow top and I almost slid out of it a couple times getting in and out. This was room 108 and their other accessible rooms do not have beds this high. The microwave had not been cleaned since there was actually food or something splattered on it that we ended up cleaning
We had stayed at this property when it was another brand. We saw a special in a travel coupon book and decided to try it. We very rarely stay at BW as they are independently operated and we were not sure what to expect. We were very pleased. The lobby is great, the rooms are updated, very modern, great bathrooms, very clean. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, so cannot comment on that. Bowling Greens is a frequent stopover for us and we will definitely stay here again.
All I can say is WOW. I was so impressed with the staff and facility. Austin took my phone reservation, as the website indicated you needed to check to make sure there was a pet- friendly room available. He explained the policy to me and most people would have just let me complete the reservation online. He was so polite and helpful. He enrolled me in the rewards program and had my temporary card waiting for me when I checked in. Jordan checked us in and was very helpful and polite as well. The room was clean and well-stocked with plenty of towels. The pool was right outside our door and was very nice. We enjoyed our breakfast by the pool and were able to have a quick swim before checking out. The free breakfast had plenty of choices and was kept stocked and clean. Overall, it was a great experience. Far better than we have had at much more expensive hotels. We will be changing our routine of staying in Nashville and staying here instead when we visit our son at the University of Alabama.
The Best Western in Bowling Green was a pleasant stay all the way around. Kay met us at the desk and checked us in. She was professional but fun at check-in. The room was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. There were so many items offered that I can't imagine what else you would need. This is a wonderful hotel...I would definitely stay again!
